The Ynet/Shalva Project!

    Efrat Dotan and Matanel Bitton are two of SHALVA's young adults with special needs. They’ve been touring the country in order to interviewing well-known personalities. Asking surprising and original questions, both Matanel and Efrat prove that charisma and personal charm can effortlessly close the gaps that separate challenged and non-challenged individuals.

    The concept is a joint initiative of SHALVA and the popular YNet news website and continues to yield delightful surprises. How does the president of Israel like being a grandfather? Why does the veteran news team of London & Kirshenbaum fight so much? What does funnyman Yuval-the-Puzzled dream about?

    Not everything is fun and games. After several minutes of lighthearted banter, they turned solemn and asked the president, “What are you doing to bring Gilad Shalit home"? He answered seriously, with all the respect accorded to experienced reporters.

    Matanel and Efrat have also interviewed well-known Israeli singers, rap-artists, actors, and other significant figures. The YNet website has erected a special internet page to highlight the project which will feature a new interview every week.
