Wild cheering and foot stomping from the bleachers were the first signs that HaPoel Yerushalayim's Chanukah game was going to be more energetic than usual.
Dedicated to the children of Shalva, the crowd went wild with excitement as our youngsters it the candles and led inthe singing of Hatikvah for the crowd of thousands. A familiar fixture at these games, Shalva youngsters enjoy the partnership and are, in fact, HaPoel's greatest fans!

 

As half time approached, the announcer requested that the audience remain seated for a few minutes for a special ceremony with the children of Shalva. As half time began, 50 children burst out into the center of the court and stood facing the emotional audience. They were warmly welcomed by the HaPoel Youth Team and were showered with gifts from Goldtime's Aharoni Noiboyer.
