Shalva's Rehabilitative Day Care Center has added a fourth class of Down syndrome toddlers in order to provide cutting edge therapies to eight more families. The center is the only one in Israel to serve both challenged and non-challenged babies via specifically targeted, integrated activities while maintaining separate classes for both. Not to be outdone, this autumn marked the beginning for a new group of 6-7 year olds in the Afternoon Activity Program. The "Rimonim" girls were all smiles as they joined their older Shalva participants, happy with the knowledge that the fun-filled years ahead will be filled with social interaction and skill development.
