On March 3, 2009, Sapir, a very unique volunteer from Shalva, was awarded the prestigious Magen Prize from the office of Social Welfare & Tourism. The award is given to outstanding volunteers for service to the community.  The ceremony took place in the Jerusalem Theatre and was covered by the press and attended by dignitaries. Congratulations Sapir!
