"A great event for an even greater cause."

Hundreds of guests and 36 poker players came out for Shalva Full House 2009 to show their support for Shalva: The Association for Mentally and Physically Challenged Children in Israel.  The event raised $140,000 and everyone enjoyed great food and drink, as well as our Boston-imported DJ who mixed it up for everyone there!

Participants bid, bluffed and raised their way through the evening, cheered on by friends and guests who came to watch these world-class players raise the stakes at this exciting charity event. Matthew Knopman, grand prize winner, won one buy into the Harrah's World Series of Poker 2010, including roundtrip airfare for two.  Second prize winner,   Joe Brachfeld, won 2 VIP spectator seats to the World Series event and Jeffrey Justin won a full day aboard a 75ft luxury yacht, with a catered party for up to 10 guests.

The success of Shalva hinges on friends introducing Shalva to THEIR friends. We would kindly ask for your help, to introduce our worthy cause to more people who can show us support and become "friends of Shalva"!
