Everyone came away thoroughly impressed with the love, patience and care displayed at SHALVA. The parents were very excited and grateful for the opportunity to introduce their families to SHALVA in general and the treatment of their precious Down's syndrome child in specific.
One of the mothers who came to the in-take day told the program director: "It gives me such a good feeling to know I'm not alone in all this. To know that there are other families. And how they accept them in the family as normal, unlike what I sometimes come across outside of this place."
