All budding chefs dream of meeting and learning from a Michelin star chef so no one was more thrilled than our culinary school graduates who last week met and prepared pastries alongside Chef Christophe Tuloup of Lyon, France.

The event was a part of So French So Food – the French culinary week in Israel and we are honored to have been included.

As part of the festival, Michelin Star Chef Christophe Tuloup joined Shalva’s culinary students (part of Shalva’s Riklis Cooperberg Culinary School) to prepare French pastry delights. Eric Danon, French Ambassador to Israel who also attended was visibly moved – by our graduates’ culinary skills and by the happy, inclusive energy that permeated throughout.

The inspiring afternoon ended with the ambassador presenting Anael Kalifa, lead singer of The Shalva Band  with an award for her outstanding contribution as an immigrant from the Lyon region.

Inclusion never tasted this good!
