We were delighted to host the First Lady of Israel Michal Herzog and the First Lady of Ecuador Maria de Lourdes Elsieuer.
During the tour, Tamar Bar-Or, a Shalva graduate who currently works in the center’s jewelry department, gave the First Ladies necklaces that the she and her colleagues made.
First Lady Michal Herzog said, “Every time I visit Shalva, I am very moved. When I see the happy children and mothers in this wonderful place it fills my heart with pride and joy.”
