Newly elected President Isaac Herzog and his wife Michal visited our sukka at Shalva
During their visit they met with some of our children and families, and with the organization’s founder and president, Kalman Samuels.
The moving visit ended with the President and his wife joining the Shalva Band for some fun and festive songs.
Approximately 30 years ago, the President’s father Haim Herzog, then the 6th President of Israel, met with Yossi Samuels. Yossi was thrilled to present the President a picture of that meeting.
