Shalva graduates Ortal Karp, Raphael Cohen and Tal Kima were thrilled to be invited to carry the official flag at the opening of the International Children’s Games competition- which was held this summer in Israel ( for the first time ever!) Ortal, Raphael and Tal also performed on the stage as representatives of the Israeli delegation. Shalva kids, staff, and graduates were invited to the official opening ceremony of the Games, held at the Sultan’s Pool in Jerusalem.
Additionally as part of a special cooperation with the Jerusalem Municipality over 80 representatives and mayors from 68 countries, including Sweden, Switzerland, Costa Rica and South Korea, gathered at Shalva for a tour of the facilities and in-depth look at Shalva’s special programs and services.
