Accessibility arrangements on the site

The Internet currently constitutes the largest repository for freedom of information for all users, and users with disabilities in particular. As such, we place great importance on providing equal opportunity for people with disabilities to use the information presented on the site, and to enable a better browsing experience.
We strive to ensure that digital services are accessible to people with disabilities, and therefore many resources have been invested in facilitating the use of the site for people with disabilities, as much as possible, in the belief that every person deserves the right to live in equality, dignity, comfort and independence.

Internet Accessibility

The website complies, as far as possible, with the requirements of the Equal Rights for People with Disabilities Regulations (Accessibility Adjustments to Services), 2013.
The accessibility adjustments were made according to the recommendations of the Israeli Standard (TI 5568) for Internet Content Accessibility at Level AA and the international WCAG2.0 document.

The website is supported by the most popular browsers Chrome, Firefox, Explorer 10+, Safari, Opera, in their latest versions.
The website provides a semantic structure for assistive technologies and support for the standard usage pattern for operating with a keyboard using the arrow keys, Enter and Esc to exit menus and windows.
In order to get the best browsing experience with screen reading software, we recommend using the latest NVDA software.

How does accessibility work on the website?

This site has an accessibility plugin enabled. The plugin allows the site to adhere to the WCAG 2.1 Web Content Accessibility Guidelines for Level AA. The software is subject to the manufacturer’s terms of use.
The site has an accessibility menu. Clicking on the menu opens the accessibility buttons. After selecting a topic in the menu, you must wait for the page to load.

Accessibility options in the menu:

• Increasing the site’s font to different sizes
• Contrast adjustments – changing the contrast of the site’s colors
• Adjusting the site for colorblind people
• Changing the font to be more readable
• Highlighting links on the site
• Displaying an alternative description for images

Enlarging the site’s display:

Visitors who have difficulty seeing and wish to enlarge the site’s display can do so by simultaneously pressing the “Ctrl” and “+” (Control and Plus) keys. Each press of these keys will increase the display, to decrease the display, press the “Ctrl” and “-” keys simultaneously.

Operating the site using a keyboard:

Surveyors who have difficulty operating a mouse can browse the site using a keyboard. Repeatedly pressing the “Tab” key will move between the various links on the page. Simultaneously pressing the “Shift” + “Tab” keys will return the cursor to the previous link. Pressing the “Enter” key will activate the highlighted link.
